SUMMARY
The truth is, kids with ADHD get SO many more corrections and instructions than kids who don’t have ADHD. This can really impact how they see themselves, and research tells us that kids with ADHD tend to have lower self-esteem than their peers. As parents, we know building confidence in kids with ADHD is essential! Empowering our children to understand their gifts and talents goes a long way toward developing emotional health. In this episode, our team discusses three simple strategies for building healthy self-esteem in children with ADHD. We share personal stories about our own families and some of the struggles (and solutions!) we have faced in supporting confidence in our own kids.

AFFILIATE INFORMATION
We talk a lot about emotionally healthy kids, and sleep is a huge part of that! That is why we LOVE Zenimal. When bedtime rolls around, we use this screen-free meditation tool for EACH of our kids (really, we do!). It’s amazing for kids who are feeling anxious or need a little help calming their busy body before bed. The best part? Each meditation ends with the most beautiful message: “You’re a good kid!” Which is so helpful for building confidence in kids with ADHD. Use our code: TCC for a discount.
