SUMMARY
As parents, our mindsets and expectations majorly impact our children. When parenting a child with ADHD, having realistic expectations and appropriate mindsets is key. We believe that every child is special and that all kids do well if they can! When we reframe our children’s struggles, this allows us the freedom to get curious and figure out the best ways to support them. In this episode, we discuss five mindset shifts for the hard days. This episode is not about taking on more mom guilt but empowering you with grace in your parenting journey.
We will be taking a break from podcasting over the next month so we can spend more time with our families. Be sure to follow us on social media to stay in touch, and we will be right back here in August to get you ready for the new school year!

AFFILIATE INFORMATION
We talk a lot about emotionally healthy kids, and sleep is a huge part of that! That is why we LOVE Zenimal. When bedtime rolls around, we use this screen-free meditation tool for EACH of our kids (really, we do!). It’s fantastic for kids who are anxious or need help calming their busy body before bed. The best part? Each meditation ends with the most beautiful message: “You’re a good kid!” Annnddd, the Zenimal is not just for kids anymore. They’ve developed a special collection just for teens and adults. We promise you will love it. Use our code: TCC for a discount.
