SUMMARY
Trying to navigate school support for kids with ADHD or suspected ADHD can sometimes feel like you have found yourself in a new country…and don’t know the language. As parents, we want to empower our kids to thrive, but it can be difficult if we don’t feel equipped. It is easy to feel lost between federal laws, state guidelines, and school board policies. You turn to Google and are inundated with information, some accurate and some not. It’s overwhelming. We are here to help! In this episode, we sit down with Wendy Taylor, a special education expert, to begin de-mystifying the school evaluation process.
