For children with ADHD, homework is often the *last* thing they want to do after school! This is likely due to differences in their executive functioning, and parents are often left to deal with the consequences. This is a recipe for fighting, distraction, and all-over discouragement… the struggle is real for our families when it comes to homework. Kids with ADHD need a special measure of support to accomplish what is expected of them.
